Firehorse Rocks Labor Day Weekend Firehorse rocks the National stage at Arts,Beats and Eats in Pontiac, MI on Sunday, Sept. 3rd at 4PM with SheDaisy, Kenny Wayne Shepperd and Jocaine. Firehorse hits the Music City Firehorse hightailed it down Highway 65 after our O'Tooles show on Thursday the 13th, driving through the night for 10 hours...... Final destination: Nashville !!!! We recorded tracks for 2 new songs at the Glass House on Friday and Saturday afternoon. Work was done and it was Saturday night in the Music City. First stop was 12th and Porter where we met Pete Keys and Cameron from Highland Publishing . Killer Mexican food and Jack on the rocks. Next stop, Muzik Mafia Redneck Rapper Chance was filming his video and his Hustler afterparty, as keyboardist extroidanaire Pete Keys was hooking us up with the afterparty guest list action.... and a little more Jack. Stopped by Tootsie's before blasting off to Clarksville to catch the last set rockin' of Mike P.. Can't wait to get back.... Nashville Rules!!!! JT YeeHawww !!! Firehorse is hitting the road after the show today (7/13) and heading south to Nashville to record 2 new tunes at the Glass House Studios. Firehorse at the Hoedown Had a hell of a time... met a lot of cool people... we gave out 500 CD's and 500 stickers ...met Tracy Byrd and the Kentucky Headhunters and hooked them up with a couple of our cd's ....click on the myspace link below for tons of pictures from this weekend. April 2nd, 2006 Firehorse Party at Cowboys The band went over to the East side to Cowboy's bar and grill this past weekend and rocked the house Friday and Saturday night. Saturday was a great party with dancing and drinking all night long. Thanks to DJ Tony and all at the Cowboy for showing us a great time our first time into the club. April 1st, 2006 CD Update After months of recording and mixing at the Glass House in Ferndale, the debut Firehorse disc is ready to be mastered and pressed. Stay tuned for release date soon. Guys? Bad news. We've been cancelled BUT...... "How would you boys like to go to Flint for the weekend?" The guys just had to go play up in Flint. Someone said, "I got the van, let's go!" A broke down plan winds up sendin' the boys up to Flint MI.
Sylvia Jo's Wagon Wheel is a treasure chest of real country history.The band was just in awe of feeling you got when you start looking at the pictures and awards on the wall. This lady has a No.1 Hit on the charts back in the 70's for pete's sake! The room has a large dance floor with a cool stage complete with the famous "Wagon Wheel".The guys felt honored to play there, that's for sure! Sylvia Jo is a great host and a classy woman. Thanks to Gabby for the great stories and thanks to Bridgette and Mary and Russ and Scott and Barry and everyone else cuz the band had an asskickin' time! People, I'm tellin you to get out and see Firehorse live but also get out to Slylvia Jo's Wagon Wheel and get the feeling of Nashville in Flint. MI. Major Chris Minor
February 27, 2006 Boomers Expanding
The line dancers were in full force as Firehorse invaded Boomers in Waterford on Friday night. Boomer had a few great announcements to make as he is expanding the club with a new stage and huge dance floor scheduled to be ready May 1st. Firehorse will be back at Boomers Saturday,March 11th and the weekend of March 17-18th. More pictures coming from this night shortly. February 24, 2006 Party at O'Tooles
Randy Dre (below) Meegan J.T. A fine time was had by al at the weekly Wednesday night at O'Tooles as the redneck music was rolling and the drinks were flowing. Dre and Meegan were out to celebrate Dre takink the bar exam earlier that day and were in full party mode dancing all night long. Firehorse is set to invade Boomers tonite and it should be a goog one. If you are into line dancing this is the place for you, as they have a huge dance floor, dance lessons and plenty of dancers to boot. Pete Keys Chris Minor Finishing touches were put on the studio tracks on Thursday afternoon as none other than "Muzik Mafia" keyboardist Pete Keys was in the Glass House to lay down some of his serious mojo on the new Firehorse tracks. You can also catch Pete on the new Kid Rock tour with opening band Ty Stone. The keys Pete laid down today were just what the doctor ordered. Mixing is set to begin on Monday with Producer/Engineer Mike P. Later Date February 13, 2006 Firehorse has been busy in tracking songs in Ferndale at the Glass House recording studio with Gold Record Producer/Engineer Mike P.. Finishing touches are being put on the tracks for the songs "Wheels of Justice" "Twangification" "Dusty Road" and "Misery loves Company" . Mixing is set to begin in the next week.
